Read Wetzel's book about the Bowl Championship Series about the month ago. I've always favored a 16-team playoff, but the book just gave me more reasons to support it.
Clear sign of my ambivalence: the Rose Bowl game between TCU and Wisconsin is on the TV, but I am watching the 1982 Sugar Bowl between Dan Marino's Pitt Panthers and Herschel Walker's Georgia Bulldogs on my laptop.
Edit: I was watching because a post on the Uni Watch blog reminded me of the Pac-Man football helmet graphics during that game.
